An isoline map is a map that has continuous lines joining points of the same value. It is used to determine the information on some thematic maps. Some examples of values that may be joined are, altitude or contour lines, temperature or isotherms, and baromic pressure or isobars. This isoline map portreys temperatures across the U.S.
